Anonymous. If you Google. Emotiontv. es and catch the solo V.Waltz from an IDSF competition. You can see in the Solo dancing that the reverse is very flat, Even in the Natural there is more travell than lift than there used to be..

Hello again,

I occasionaly came on this message board to see what were some suggestions. I must say, that most of the things about the Viennese I've been told, such as the space, speed, etc. I knew all that already. The idea for the viennese came from tradition, we dance it on our weddings in Slovenia, Austria and other countries, but ofcourse the social version, which is a piece of cake. Now even if some of you provoked in me a real beast, lol, since I am as stuborn as it gets, after a loooot of thinking, I spoke to my sister's partner who is a great dance teacher, especially for competitive international standard, and as he pointed out straight like you guys did...do not waste your time of months and then realize, that you cannot dance the reverse...there is no quick way to learn that. Besides, the speed will allow very little room for the choreography even if we take some figures from latin or other dances. So my dear FRIENDS, thanks for your advices...I actually listened...and WE ARE DOING THE WALTZ. By the way, we already started with the learning process on our own, he in States, me in Europe with a visual help of dvd and a footage made by my two teachers here. Terence2, we will contact you as soon as my buddy over there is ready with the basics and confident enough to continue preparing until my arrival which should be sometimes in october. Again, no matter how hessitant at first, I thank all you guys, you opened my eyes. M
