I've had a couple of periods during which I took off for a few months (mostly health and job reasons).

Honest reflection is always a good way to regain one's perspective for any activity; Ballroom is no exception.

I'm sure that you have other interests with which you can fill your time (I learned Taiji). When you return to dance, you'll find that your energy levels are higher and your patience is stronger.
