Re: Ideal Mix of music for an evening of Dancing

I know dance bands are needed. For one exception, all bands I have been in dancing was an afterthought. Bands form and play the music they can get a hold of. It is very expensive to buy music so bands usually trade and copy from each other, they end up playing what is available and not what is required. I am really trying to set up the otherway around.

If you know of others bands you like, tell me what they do properly, I could pick the leaders brain.

Thanks for the input.
