Reference Victo Sylvester Modern Ballroom Dancing. He mentions that in 1922 saw the last of the cross behind in the Foxtrot and the substitution of the Feather. In other words what is now the Feather was actually a type of lock step. It mentioned London as being the venue for the second and third World Championship. It would appear that the first was also held in London It would seem that from 1925 the most important title to be won was the Star Ballroom Championships organized by the STAR newspaper and also held in London up untill the late 50's. Going to another Reference. Philip. J. Richardson. The World Titles were held in London for three years.
