Are you saying that they will be playing contemporary music (TRL style pop, or rap?) If so, this is usually done as untrained movement... similar to what you see in the party scenes of music videos.

My suggestion is to go to a few teen clubs and observe. They'll have had no training so most of their movements will be easy to replicate, since they involve zero technique. Then, go to your local dance school and take a few lessons with a Latin coach, telling him/her what you need to learn. They'll hook you up.

beware the social dance teacher... this is not what they will be dancing at the party...
