.. I dance with 2 gentlemen both of whom dance host on cruise ships and tell war stories about the women on those cruises you wouldn't believe !!

Really? Pray, tell us more. I have always imagined two supermodels (in cat suits) fighting over me on a cruiseship for the last waltz. Well, fine, I am going to start imagining that. Now, tell us some stories.

Phan, Tom.

I have spent many hours (!) trying to land a job like the one you are trying to find .. I'll save you some time, effort and MONEY ! Give it up ! Cruise ships hire MEN ONLY for dancing because of the exhausting surplus of "available" women that crowd the cruise ships ... another ""sigh"" female (instructor OR dancer) is the very LAST thing they would even remotely consider .. .. I say so because I have tried in vain and got nothing but "we'll get back to you" for over a year !!!! plus ... I dance with 2 gentlemen both of whom dance host on cruise ships and tell war stories about the women on those cruises you wouldn't believe !! Do yourself a favor, find something else to do .. good luck

Just to let you know...don't give up hope! I have been contacted by cruise lines about work, of course, with my partner (we applied as a couple, we knew it was the only way) and we did get a good offer for this summer, with great salary and all inclusive for us, even airfare and medical insurance, but we coudn't accept because by that time we gave up and commited to other employers for the period.
So please always keep a window to get out just in case, and don't give up on this!!!
Best wishes,
Bluey

If you could find a male partner to work with you, there would be more appeal for the cruise lines. They might ask the two of you to perform in the evening shows, and to teach a group class during the day. Good luck.
