clockwise route ?

I am fond of Luca's dancing . They put a lot of color into their dances.
Now, I am learning their lesson video clip on the net .( progressive chasse & quick open reverse turn... ( quickstep, Art in Motion ))
I am not sure what I looked: the dance route is clockwise which commences (man) backing -LOD, parallel to -DC.
Rhythm :& SqqS
(with more forward feeling, lady almost backs LOD on first q and backs DC on second S ).
{group I: progresseive chasse to left /quick open reverse turn /progressive chasse/ cross chasse/ natural turn ( OP) open impetus; group II: progressive chasse to left / 3 quick open reverse turn (qqqqqqqqsqqs) /progressive chasse/cross chasse.)

Although I tried them (I+ II) facing DC down LOD and let man keep me in front of him to move easy and far, I was aware of that I changed the route. I thought it is better to make sure what I looked and listened if I am going to ask my new coach to dance clockwise route. Please look into this case and correct me. Thanks.

Your best bet is work with your coach ask him anything you want to know. Why take chances of getting second opinion from someone you don't even meet in person. You have access to a coach and I'm pretty sure;it cost you a lot then use it.If you don't trust your coach, then time to get a new one.I hope your coach won't find out that you have doubt on his coaching.Good luck.

The reason:
I have not found one who can explain all I want to know, all of us have limitation or blind points. I learn and ask from any one who likes to share his / her knowledge with others . Birds of a feather flock together generally;
I hope what I translated or said or as a guidance for my practice are correct . My new coach teaches me and learn from me . I don't think it is wrong , even I pay him for taking his lesson. Teaching benefits both party alike. Untill now, the progression is normal. About the clockwise movement , I will tell him I am not sure what I looked, it is better to consult his teacher. but I thought , in showcase , it is OK. Thanks for reply.

Yichin. There is something seriously wrong her. The dances go anti clockwise.
A Progresive chasse and Quick Open Reverse still move anti-clockwise.A skilled dancer may move clockwise for a few steps . In the main to avoid a crowded situation usually on the short side of the ballroom. Not to be tried by the none experienced.

Phil. I know the water goes down the plug hole the wrong way in the Southern Hemisphere. But the Quickstep does not.

Don, Thanks for advice.
I understood anti-clockwisd massive movement diminishes crash . So , in crowded floor , we obey this rule . But may clock-wise choreography be allowed in showcase ? I do think so . why not ? If only one pair of dancer on the floor ? Without variation without development .
My question is based on that : Luca commenced backing DC against LOD down against LOD, then moving along the center side with a lot of diagonal angles arrived wall side. He treated progressive chasse less side movement because of followed by quick open reverse turn, he should avoid lady behind him or he had to let her infront of him on effort on next figure. So lady let body move forward and let RF catch it on first quick . They squared and back the point between LOD and DC, Luca mentioned that lady backs DC ( on second q ).( the second clue I had such impression. ) My problem is that I hope to have correct concept , so I ask. In this case,I did not confirm what I saw and understood in net video clip especially there was limited angle and evidence of environtment or explanation.
Thanks.

Anyway, you provoked me to search what I want to know.
Positively, now I got a roughly explanation of Corriolis Effect. Not bad.

Yichin. On a video sometimes the alignment can be deceiving. On an empty floor with you watching. If the couple are close to you with the man backing they will appear to be going clockwise. Put them to the othe side of the hall, dead opposite, they will be going anti-clockwise. Clockwise, don't try it otherwise you will run out of floor space when you reach the end of the floor. We don't have any Show Case here. But in a demonstration anything could happen.

Thanks Don.
Although I am still puzzled, it is better to move anti-clockwise .
About the spiral in Latin, I am not going to have lesson .
(My daughter asked me to teach her Latin after I showed her the rumba forward walk, . I said I can't. I know nothing about Latin. But I suggested her to get some important concepts prior having lesson with someone to save time and money. I bought Latin techique & Muscular exercise by Shirley Ballas for her reference. When she have lesson with a good teacher ( It is hard to find .), she can teach me step by step. I am too old , I set my aim at " correct ".)
I prefer to throw myself into standard ballroom dance. Waltz exhausts me: a series of figures needed gather / release much more energy , swing far... I tried my best to follow all his(my new coach ) instructions . Fortunately , he danced foxtrot with me intermediately. Tonight I will review what I learnt at home.
