Yes, I agree, I prefer the slower tempo in Rumba.

Frankly, I have no desire to compete, but I find it useful to go to a competition from time to time. Seeing competitive level dance gives me a better feel for what I should be aiming for, and of course, if you know some of the competitors, you can always cheer them on.

I had the pleasure of attending a big IDSF competition lately. More later. Chantal
