Suomynona. You lost me on that one.The person on the inside does the passing?at what point?. When I step back in a turn I think that I am opening the door for my partner to pass through she then waits for me to pass through the door,we are not both working at the same time or trying to pass through the door at the same time. I'm having a tea break while she provides the power, but at the same time I must keep my spine turning as she swings through,we are the same weight and height. This method to me provids a more dynamic and powerfull movement.

SUOMYNONA. Are we forgetting CBMP on the second quick. Without it your Reverse Turn will be second class. Ask the lady which she prefers. Without it I find it difficult to get my feet under my body for the Reverse Turn and to be able to take two balanced steps backwards , of an equall length.. LF. then RF.

Because of the offset in the hold, on a reverse turn the person moving forwards will actually end up behind their partner in the head and shoulders, because the offset subtracts from the underturned body position desired at the end. In a natural they end up ahead because the offset adds.

There is of course CBMP on the 2nd quick of the feather, and NO CBMP on the 2nd quick of the reverse (unless it's an open reverse), so not really shure what that was all supposed to be about?

Suoynona. I got that dreaded book out for this one. On a Foxtrot Reverse Turn there CBM on 1 4 and 7. The sixth step is placed in CBMP.Do you know i am actually learning from all this. Keep them coming, and don't be scared of making a mistake . Somebody will soon put you right, and another will benefit from you questions.

Yes, if you speak of the reverse turn as including the feather finish, then obvioulsy there is CBMP in the feather finish just as that I mentioned in the feather. But in common usage the reverse turn will not necessarily include the feather finish - note in the book they explicility tell you they are giving you both.

Given the context of discussion of CBM, some will mistakenly assume that full CBM puts them in CBMP, or that they might end the reverse turn (123) in CBMP - so I was trying to clear that up.

And notice I said there was NO CBMP specifically on the 2nd quick of the reverse... the CBMP you mention is on the 4th quick, which would less confusingly be termed the 2nd quick of the feather finish.
