Seriously--- the main reason to avoid a name like "Anonymous" is only that more than one person might use that same name. And then it gets confusing. Even if the forum software won't permit more than one such person, doubt arises.

And I still agree with you. I could easily sign myself in as Fred Astaire (or a modern equivalent without the obvious disqualification) and tell you that I'm the best dancer around. Would anyone believe me? Would my comments really be taken more seriously?

Only after we acknowledge the credibility of what someone writes can we than think and work towards the suggestion.
Working on incorrect information can waste ones time.

Would you take the risk of buying a second hand car from a car dealer before checking personally the car history and engine etc...
