Guest. The Contra Botofogo is simply. Man and Lady on the same foot doing a Botofogo in the same direction.
Not the cross over ones. They are Shadow Botofos. The lady and man on opposite feet.
We also have Travelling Botofogos as well as Promenade Botofogos. All of them are different. The timing in all of those is 3/4 1/4 1 = two beats of music which is also one bar.The Tempo being played is 48 BPM although the book says 52. to 54 BPM. I hope this helps you and your partner.
