Quickstep, here they have mixed proficieny for ams of different levels where only one is judged as well.

Hmmm let me guess- are you in Australia? Three styles would be standard, latin, and new vogue. . . just a guess

ProAm tends to be really expensive. Its fun because you are danceing with a professional, but its also good to try finding a regular partner. Its cheaper because you dont need to pay for other peoples expenses, and winning is more rewarding because the both of you had to work hard at it. I know its difficult to find a leader some times, but its worth the effort. good luck with your competitions, whom ever you are danceing with.
