Same here in the US. Well known instructors rates are from $85 to $150/hr. Average instructors are from $40 to $75.

Where I live we have a really good instructor and the cost is around $65 for a private lesson, and group lessons run around $45 for several weeks.

Look around until you find an instructor whose way of teaching fits your way of learning and whose students dance the way you would like to dance.

just do it then you can get further and you won't have to just admire the dance but you can also be a part of it as well ..
