It is great that you adapt to having new teachers and are open to new experiences-you learn something new from every teacher. This said, the bottom line is, your teacher should adapt to YOUR learning style, not the other way around. You obviously see the potential in your teacher - try talking to him and see if it helps. Otherwise, switch teachers

Just thought you would like to know ( not that it helps ) it,s not uncommon in my profession , to hear abusive instruction .

I think you have every right to take them to one side, and vent your displeasure . If they are anything of a man/ woman-- they will respect your wishes .
