Lets not forget the Lady is on our right side so turning to the left is not a mirror image of turning to the right,also the the reverse turn is not a circular flight like the natural turn,the flight is down the line of dance.

If you can find your way to the European IDSF Championships from Madrid. You will se that the V.Waltz Natural Turn is being danced flatter than it was a little while ago. The Reverse, if we can imagine the head is touching a ceiling is stays there. No rise or fall. If you do the same to the Natural Turn you will see that the rise and fall is to a minimum, The progression is along and not with that pronounced rise we were once taught.
