Phil . Something that didn't get mentioned on the Same Foot Lung is that the ladies body position is more across the man's centre. If you like call it a line from the man's right shoulder to his left hip. The man's right thigh can be used for a bit of support. Its not a good idea to let the lady hold herself up. It is a strong balanced position
The most used exit it probably the Tele Spin. The man must remember that he only steps on beat two. The lady exits on beat one. The man steps only after the lady has completed her step one. He then just follows her around on the spot and on the toes.. Step out in Promenade.

Thank you for that detailed information. I really had hardly any instruction in this step so it was hard to ask a detailed question. Our entrance in, and out is quite difficult(this is for smooth) so we did not spend much time understanding the lunge thinking we could easily figure it out. Haaa, not so! For the lady you are inclinded to take it down rather than lift up, arnt you?

There are no down Lines in Standard Ballroom Dancing. None at all.
Also . Look over the ladies head and never straight at her. If you did from the other end of the hall it would look as if you were diving into the floor.
