Re: bad partner or no partner?

When I think about this question, of "bad partner no no partner," I think it's a trade off. You get a lot just by having a partner, but you also can get very frustrated and even hurt.

I think what it boils down to is how much do you want to dance? If you really want to dancee, you'll take the bad partner, if only for a while. You can learn something from any partnership if you want to.

Can't agree - that's very short sighted advice. Many of the men who can sort of dance will never amount to annything competitively. Many of those who have two left feet can win with the right coaching. It's all about finding a teacher the partner is willing to listen to who can actually help you; if you can do that it doesn't matter how bad you start out. If you can't do that, it doesn't matter how good the partner is to start - they won't be getting much better.

Think of it this way.
Would you rather have a guy who is a perv and knows what he's doing?
or
Would you rather have a guy who is just learning but he's nice and has intrest?
