I like "Mad about Mambo". It is about the Samba
There is a lot of dancing in this movie, dancing lessons, a competition, etc. The movie is about a boy who want to improve his football technique by taking Samba lessons, a very funny combination. During the dancing lessons he meets a girl etc.

Susanne 1969 and everyone else,

I just noticed Strictly Ballroom the other night. Saw that it was coming on,looked at the description and decided to record it. It was coming on when I needed to go to bed and I hope to watch it soon. I have always loved watching dance movies. And I do believe there is a movie out there called "Salsa." What I remember it is probably a mid to late '80s film. The dancing was good though. I will have to check out "Mad About Mambo" sounds interesting.

I'm seriously surprised that nobody has mentioned Dance of a Dream. Great movie, but once again since it's a foreign film you'll have to deal with the subtitiles. Regardless this is a must see for anyone that has seen the standards of Shall We Dance and Dance with ME.

If you go to www.half.com, you can find Shall We Dance. I buy almost all of my music, books and videos there. Good prices.
