Last night, I practice walking and running spinturn followed by reverse pivots and side cross , contra fallaway from CPP.( waltz ), which I learn from vidoe clip ( Fabio ). My coach came to me ( after his teaching lesson ) and said , let us learn this routine. I feel quite good , except with that , I hope the reverse pivote ( 123& ) move as fas as possible, ( 1/2 turn eac pivot ); keep stable frame on first step of contra fallaway.Tonight , we will work better. He is really a good coach keeping open mind . He never watch this clip before.

Technique Man. On a Natural Turn in the Waltz. I am having a great deal of success by swinging my left side on the diagnal and my right foot not on the diagnal. I find I can get more compression on my right knee. I can draw the feet together much slower. And I can freeze on three and stay there as long as I wish on my toes with my feet together. It also helped when I was told the shoulders and arms should travel faster than the feet and not at the same time. That second sentence at the top would you believe has been in the Technique book since before most of us were born.I think Alex Moore must have been a very precise person, he writes something maybe twenty or so words. But only once. It might have been better if he had repeated himself a few times. But then the book would have got bogged down and would have been as thick as Gone with the Wind.
