Virtually all pictures of women in fashion magazines, etc. are air-brushed. They will take an already skinny model and take of some of her thighs and hips by editing the picture. I saw a documentary about this on TV, showing the unedited and edited pictures. It was a revelation to me!

you have a lot of good points. same here- about hearing from one of the opposite sex's pov. i feel good about myself for pretty much the reason you stated, and because i have self confidence. although focusing on other stuff doesnt take my mind off my appearance, it just doesnt matter to me. if i feel good and healthy i am fine. and when the person is over 30 years older than you- to me that isnt too appealing. to me at least. i guess you are right in what you say, but i think that when it comes to stuff like this, there isnt a right or wrong answer. this isnt like algebra- this is opinions, not 2+2=4. that is just my opinion though.
