Uderstanding timing

A few years ago about Fifteen a Japanese Latin CD was put out with the last couple of tracks covering the five dances where the orchestration was filterted out leaving just the rhythm
I'm pretty sure the disk was a Denon
With the Columbia Orchestra playing. Is'nt it a pity something like that is not still around. Although i did manage to make a poor sustitute for a friend of mine, on a tape, who reckoned he just could'nt hear the beats in the Rumba and the Cha.
