The site doesn't (and never has) keep all of them available all the time. If you've copied the file somewhere else on your hard drive and renamed it, then you have saved the old ones. Whenever a new variation.mov file comes along, you copy and rename it. It's only if you don't change the name that you will lose it everytime a new variation.mov file comes along.
