I think those of us who do Latin have an advantage over those who do Standard.
We can do many more off the Ballroom floor exercises than our friends in the other style. Get yourself a belt with a fairly prominent buckle. Stand in front of a mirror and practise moving the buckle which will move the hips. The catch word seems to be try to move your hip up to your armpit keeping the upper body still. Of course you can't but I think the message is there. Arm movements are easier to practice, this can be done solo and on your own at home. Without going any further here I think the point I make is obvious. There is one thing in Standard that should be done and that is to stand with your back to a wall or door and find out what standing up really is. I rarely see anyone doing this and yet with Latin most of the above we see all the time.
