First, do a lot of releves. Slowly and correct you placement each time so that your weight is always btw the ball of your big and second toe. This way your body will remember the correct placement and you'll build your strengh to stay with the correct placement.
Second, do slow tendus en croix and again correct your placement until it becomes a reflex.
You can use a theraband to build your strength to.
