I hear your frustration. I have resently gotten bit by the dance bug and would love to practice all the time. Well as much as possible but it is not my husband's favorite. He enjoys dancing but doesn't want to take it as seriously as I do. I guess I just have to come to terms that it will have to be a side hobby. He is much more willing to practice if I am just trying to have fun with him. I suggest being honest with her about your qoals and if she doesn't want to train with you, then she should let you train with someone else.
