Re: How to price secondhand costumes

Laura's list is very good. I also think about how many stones seem to be on the gown. stones are expensive. id pay more for a gown with many stones, then one with a simple pattern of very few stones. stones are expensive. if a costume add states that is has korean rhinestones then you have to understand that they arent very good and dont sparkle all that well. they do ok, but just ok, on the lower part of ok infact. as for the style question. i personally thin that if the dres is 8 years out of style and you like it and think you are going to feel confident in it, then dont worry too too much about the style. wether the style is in fashion is a price factor. so if you tend to like older styles your in luck. the garment should always be quality. it should be well made and not look like it should fall apart after a wear or too. good luck with your dress search.
