You can do both. Some people change their make up based of if they are dancing latin or standard, using more dramatic colors and styles for latin. I tend to wear the same for both. It is easier for me. Most of the competitions I dance in are stressful enough without having to worry about changing my make up. As long as you use a neutral color that will go with all your costumes, and it looks nice, you should be fine. Good luck.
