Recently, I had more time ( no lessons transiently )to consider some fundamental basics, such as posture , poise, vertical line, swing.
Although I did not make clear the whole meaning of "central muscle position when quick running " mentioned in page 11, (I prefered to use muscles tension to replace muscle position . )I felt the mentioned central muscles tension is helpful in posture and movement . I got more freedom from flexible spine ( Maybe I overused the core muscles I thought it may be why Geoffrey emphasized no contraction. )
Last night , I accidentally found out the reason about level belt:our body is not a board ; pelvis will be in its mid position while the belt is level. I am trying to maitain level belt in some figures such as progressive backward, forward, pivot.
It seems getting more upright and flexible lumbar spine and relaxed chest now which let the swing easier.through swing , the weight cross my standing foot and floor clearer and faster and safe energy. Body moves as one block. It is different with my previous experience. I feel surprise, excited and not sure wheather there is misunderstanding. I want to try, to feel...
