Re: Dancing shoes...when to get them??

Now. Almost any shoe is ok if youre
just messing around. However, there are
essential benefits with dance shoes. In
a nutshell, the suede sole provides the
correct amount of 'friction' 'grip' etc.
so you can be stable yet move. Dance
shoes have more support for your foot as
opposed to sneakers.......for dancing purposes. The rubber outsole of sneakers
grip the floor too much and can actuslly
trip you up for STD. However works well
for Latin where grip is important.

Practice/dance in the shoes you will use.
Why switch back and forth and hve to get
used to a new 'feel' all the time.
