I need help organizing a competition...

On Dec. 30th, 2005 my fiance and dance partner, Loren, was killed in a motorcycle accident. I wanted to hold a dance competition in his honor, but don't know where to start. The proceeds would go to save Loren's passion... dancing. My school is trying to shut down the dance classes in the building where they are being hosted currently, the classes that Loren was so passionate about. Loren and I met in our dance class, he was there to help the instructor teach the class (and to add another guy, so the class would be more balanced). The classes that they are trying to shut down are actually pretty popular, so there must be a good reason for terminating them. I believe that it would be a shame to let something like that happen to an art form that so many people are passionate about, including Loren (he would have wanted the program to continue). Unfortunately, the department does not have the space, or funding to rent space... yet. And so I am trying to put together this benefit for the good of the general public, the future of the program, and in the memory of the love of my life. If you have any information or would be willing to help, please contact me ASAP.

Thank you
