tonight, 2/17/06 was a disgrace!!! How could Rice win over Lisa Rinna ?? This is NOT a popularity contest, it's a DANCE contest and it is obvious Rice is NOT a dancer. If this series is to continue, the judging must be changed.
I suggest NO more calling in from the fans.
My final say is that DREW and CHERYL
should WIN !!!!!

Ballroomdancers.com isn't affiliated with "Dancing with the Stars." So, telling DwtS that their system stinks here has absolutely no effect.

The judging is fine, in general they've done a good job ranking the dancers. The REAL problem is the fact that AUDIENCE VOTE counts for 50% of the scoring that is the problem. When the audience votes, the competition becomes a popularity contest. That's what happens on American Idol, too. Anyway, Lisa simply isn't as popular among mainstream TV audiences as Jerry is. So, Jerry gets more votes, and Lisa gets booted. I'm sorry to see her go -- she was the most improved dancer of all -- but that's the way the game is played on that particular TV show.
