Anonymous 3 and IndySpinner: If you look at a couple ready to go on the floor to dance or compete they have a certain air about them or "Poise" as it were. The "Air" one can refer to is that they look like they know what they are doing. Their "Posture" is upright, staunch and projects confidence or "Poise". A coach can correct their "posture" in a heartbeat however their "poise" comes from confidence in knowing they can execute cleanly what they intend to do and that comes from a lot of practice.
Having connection and forward "Posture" or "Negative" posture is just that, "Posture" and is obvious. Add to that their looks and then you have "Poise" together with "Posture"
