I am a teacher I see this alot on both sides. I have men that dance without their wife and ladies that dance without their hubies? I always ask the other person if thay would like to come in sometimes I call them or maybe send a card to them to ask. I try to make sure thay know its ok to stop by any time! Maybe your teacher can try this, also you said something about hunting? Try this for that you go with him to do something and he can go with you. Hope one of these work.
