class and partner help!

ok, here is my problem
the places I could dance at that are nearby are very pricey and it is cheaper if you have a partner but I can't convince any guy my age to dance with me so do any of you know how to convince a guy to dance with you but still let them know that there isn't any romantic feelings for them??

Hi Anonymous,

I'm sure there are plenty of guys who love to dance. Just keep in touch with different people and don't give up. You will eventually find more than one guy. Make things clear from the beggining. Try also to join with other girls in the same situation. Maybe it's easier with a group of friends...

Have you tried going to a gay club to find a dance partner? You'll probably have a better chance that way.

What is your age? If you are in high school or college, one place to look for guys who might be interested in dancing is the drama club or class. My nephew, who I thought was the last person to want to learn to dance, started acting in his high school's plays, and pretty soon he was taking dance lessons, too.
