In Spain you have the 5th Internacional Congress of Salsa in Galicia. This year it's celebrated in Santiago de Compostela. The world Champions are going to participate in it.There are a lot of workshoops and another interesting activities. You can visit the organization website in http://www.salsorro.com. The organization put some phones to answer our questions in english, potuguesse and spanish. I wish it likes you. Bye, bye

It's just a series of workshops on the different styles of Salsa given by a so-called expert on that particular style. Quite a number of these workshops are run together in different rooms so they can clash with another style you would like to be involved with.

salsa congresses are usually weekend events that features some of the worlds best salsa musicians and dancers. depending on where you go you will see more of a specific style of salsa being danced than another. (NY, LA, Miami, or other parts of the world)

the events have performances, live music, workshops, social dancing and a lot of vendors.

if you choose to go to a congress look for
Eddie Torres
Frankie Martinez
Tomas Guerrero
Juan Matos
Jayson Molina
Francisco Vasquez
and many others!
