Regular beats

I have a collection of dance music some very recent. After reading on this site about beats that remain regularor not. I have a friend who has a Megaton ( thats one of those things that ticks out the beats ). So we got together set his Megaton and listened and counted a Japanese orchestrer playing strict tempo music. On the cover it gives the number of bars per minute. The amount of bars on the disk. And the length of time the disk will run for like. 27 BPM. 4 + 64 time 2.41. We set the gadget and played and counted. The couple of tunes we played were spot on with the count. It didn't vary not once. I have a very recent disk which is part of the Ballroom Collection. They are a collection of songs some of them sung by the oridginal artist which come from a bye gone age. Ella Fitzgerald singing Dreams are made for Chidren. This one got a little muddy about half way through for a very few bars of music. Otherwise it was spot on. This I found was a good education for me. When the music just went off the beat, it was only for a few second. I found it very ucomfotable counting. Who said girls can't count. I must thank my friend for the use of the Megtron and my other friend for the use of the computer. I hope somebody finds this of some intertest.

Anonymous. Metronome that's correct. One of those things, a musicians device that marks time at a selected rate by giving a regular tick.
