You're in luck! There are tons of dance studios in NYC. The trick will be to find the right one for you.

If I were looking for a dance studio, I'd probably try the Yellow Pages and Google to see what's available. Especially on web pages, you'll get a sense of what the studio focuses on.

Pick some ones that look good and try them out. Take a group class or try their introductory special (usually a private or two and a group class or two). Just don't let yourself get talked into any big packages of classes or lessons until you are sure where you want to go.
