Uou need to reveiw the definition of CBMP.
It is a position of ONE FOOT RELATIVE TO THE OTHER. It is not a body position.
Yes, in popular usage the term is often applied much more to the opposite side lead body position associated with outside partner and promenade actions than to the foot position that it technically means.
In pivots though, you get the literal meaning of the term - one foot in front of another - but without an opposite side lead in the body. In fact, you'll want to maintain a same-side lead in the body, until you are done with the last rotation.
There is of course no "stepping around" !!!
