Social dancing is a blast! If you can get a discount rate at your studio, I would take as many group classes as you can...if you like mambo, maybe you'll like west coast swing or hustle too. Studios usually host parties on different nights of the week for different styles of social dance. Find out what you like...the more you dance, the more people you will meet, and the more you'll learn about that particular scene outside the studio. Who knows, maybe you'll end up liking argentine tango...every scene is unique, but you'll find a lot of enthusiasm if you look for it!
