The shadow position is identical in both dances-- led from the same position- only the rhythm changes from , 4 and 1. to s. q .q.

From the box step-- lady steps side left, back right ( open break )-- commence to walk fwd- s- commence turning right- q,q, complete turn on s. , you will be in position .

The man effects a hand change ( r to r ) as he leads you fwd from the open break , on the q..q.

This should be a much easier transition, as there are no syncop .
