Information on "North Texas Push" from the 50's

When in college in the mid-fifties...the most popular club dance in Dallas was called the "Push". This dance was very popular and today...I see dancer's doing a dance thay call an updated West Coast Swing. Houston did a dance at the time called "The Whip". I have just recently relocated back to the Dallas area and would like to brush up on the "Push", but have not been able to find a dance studio that teaches the old NTPush...I'm hop'n that someone out there might help me find a studio in this area that is familiar with this dance as it was danced in the 50's.
