Re: my contacting pros.,....Melissa is well connected in the salsa world and is also known in the swing world. A simply call or mention could set the ball rolling. If a So. Cal. pro knew of a very talented lead and wanted the best for "him'....they would certainly go out of their way to get the 2 togeather. (If they truly loved their craft). My daughter has coached (as an asst. to Alex Da Silva) a pro. ballroom couple that were training for an international salsa comp. They were quite taken by Melissa. It would be a very sad state if there were two young dancers that were meant to be a couple...but never met because the pros do not concern themselves with finding partners for their ballroom youth. I think it's more of a case that gifted young leads are just not out there. (in so. cal.)
