Hi Kaiara. As for your question. I looked at the movie trailer scene. The dress is not all that complex. Let's see if I can make your dress image a simplier version. Picture this. A ballet lycra turtleneck, cap sleeve leotard. With a matching Lycra 4-way stretch sewn on circle skirt. Mark the circle skirt into two "length" parts, when you originally cut the circle skirt out, measure from the waist to above the knee. On your circle skirt, measure, mark another circle that will separate the lower skirt(knee height to ankle) from the main skirt(above knee height to waist)now cut this one away from the original main circle skirt. Gather/ruffle and baste/sewing the lower circle(knee to ankle part) to the main circle (waist to knee). Now split the lower circle into 8 quarters after you've sewn it to the upper circle. or however many splits you want in the lower circle to make it fly with accents. Lycra works well for this. Good Luck.
