Re: Ordering Ballgown from HongKong

I have two dresses from Rainbow. One I love and one I hate. I tried to design one and she absolutely could not make any of the three I wanted. She said she could, I sent in sketches and pictures and WOW...it was like she didn't even look at what I wanted, she did what she wanted which kind of resembled my dress desires.

I was so disappointed I just told her to stop and forfitted my deposit.

I make my own dresses now, and they always turn out exactly how I want them. Yes it takes forever and you do spend a lot for notions and lace and rhinestones....but you end up with EXACTLY what you want. If you can't sew than design one, find a local seamstress and have her/him create it for you. That way you can have a hands on connection and know exactly what you are getting.

Besides its fun, I buy unusual fabrics in every country I visit now and incorporate them in the dresses so you have something truly unique. Most recent purchase was Blue Versace lace in Buenos Aires...can hardly wait to put that together!!

Just my advice.
