I have a question about the figure standardised in Guy Howard known as "Outside Swivel (after 1 and 2 of Reverse Turn).
My question relates to step 4 of that figure, which is the final part derived from the Promenade Link.
This is described as RF fwd & across in CBMP & PP pointing to wall (for the man) and LF fwd & across in CBMP & PP moving to wall pointing to DW (lady).
Now, something bothers me about this. If the man is fwd & across and pointing to wall he is must be moving DW. Isn't it impossible to move in a different direction from the lady without loosing contact. I can't think of any other examples (although I've not thought about tangomuch) -can anyone think of any others.Perhaps there is some reason for it here (any ideas ?). On the other hand maybe it should have read fwd in CBMP for the man (instead of fwd & across) which would have put him moving DW too, or perhaps, fwd for the lady making her move DW.
Any thoughts or clarification much appreciated.
