Re: Arthur Murray Step Names/Ballroom Dancers Dance Step Names

Hi Deborah,

I plan to install a search tool pretty soon that will allow you to search steps by name, as well as by alias. For now, the best we have is a list of aliases for each step, which can be found on the "Fact Sheet" section of the Overview tab of any figure.

The one set of aliases that have been deliberately omitted from the alias list are those that may have been trademarked by Arthur Murray or any other large dance organization. You may be able to "magically" find these figures once the search is installed, but they won't be labeled as such, and the terms won't appear on the alias list. As a student of Arthur Murray, you can probably think of at least one obvious example of this.
