It's a cliche only becuase it's a very natural thing to do. And if you are both good, honest people, it might even turn out for the best. But there is a lot more to life or a relationship than dancing - so take it slowly, continue with the bringing a friend along, etc. Realistically, while the 3 year difference seem big now, in a few more years it will seem small. But a lot will change in your life as you move from high school to college, and so you may find that they guy who is right for you now will not be right for you then. And even if he is the right guy, you need to do some exploring of life on your own in order to figure out who you are - which can be hard if you are always in the company of someone who thinks he already knows the answers to those questions.

But basically, you are just going to have to wait and see. Enjoy your time together, be careful, play by the rules, and just wait and see.
