John Woods and Anne Lewis in their tapes cover all of which you need to know concerning body movement. The one I have is on Waltz and Foxtrot. The tape is still available even though it is a few years old. I'll give you an example Foxtrot, Featherstep by the man
foreward on the right foot takes three half beats, with CBM, the remaining half beat is used when the moving foot passes the supporting foot. From this you can work out what the lady should be doing.
Good Luck

I've looked in this quite a bit -- the best references I have come across as follows:

1) see http://www.somaticpatterning.com for a very good reference (my favorite so far)

2) you can check amazon.com for "Making Connections: Total Body Integration Through Bartenieff Fundamentals" by Peggy Hackney and "Dance Kinesiology" by Sally Fitt and "Anatomy of Movement" by Blandine C. Germain

These four books are all great references!
