Thanks everyone for your responses. From the sounds of it, I should not make my knee bend my primary focus, which is fine since I have plenty of other things to focus on (frame 'maintenance', footwork, head weight, etc.).

Special thanks to quickstep for assuming that I was aiming for Blackpool. I aspire to be the best that I can be, and it would be nice to be at that level someday.

Viennese is actually one of my favorites for 2 reasons: 1) It is technically challenging; 2) Even at my level I am actually able to achieve that 'flight' feeling that you get while dancing it.

Those are just the two main reasons are why I am pestering this so much, so I really do appreciate all the good advice! Thanks again!
