Posting Anonymously

As another user pointed out, more than one person seems to be posting messages under the pseudonym "anonymous". And while we want to invite everyone to participate in discussions by not requiring registration and allowing anonymous posting, it might be nice if you would choose a more creative pseudonym. It doesn't have to give away your true identity; It only needs to set you apart from other people posting here, to make discussions easier to follow. At the very least, give yourself a number, such as "anonymous17".

Thanks!

I agree it can be confusing. The advantage though is comments have to be read purely on their merits, since the person making them has no known reputation.

Except of course, that an anonymous person starts with a reputation of not being prepared to give a name

This is a reasonable request from the Administrator. It's not the issue of being anonymous that he takes issue with but rather two (or more) posters using the same pseudonym. This does indeed make following a discussion more difficult than it should be.

but notice how much quieter it suddenly got?

Not really. The message board seems to be fairly active right now from where I sit. But even if it did hit a lull, there would be no way to know whether it was related or just a coincidence. Activity on this message board is very random. Sometimes it's go a day or two without a post, while other times it seems like messages are pouring in by the minute. You just never know.

I just discovered this site.

I tried to post a new message as guest but 'Post Reply' doesn't show as it does in this reply.

My question is how do I listen to/play your dance music?
